Zlatan Ibrahimovic admits that he has been surprised by the end-to-end nature of the Premier League

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted that he has been surprised by the end-to-end pace of the Premier League since his arrival at Manchester United.

The Swedish striker has been adapting to life in the Premier League since his summer move to Old Trafford on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

Ibrahimovic has been in impressive form for Manchester United so far this season and scored both goals in their 2-0 win over West Brom at the weekend.

The 35-year-old has already reached double figures for the Red Devils this season after an impressive start to life at Old Trafford.

And the striker has lifted the lid on his first impressions of the Premier League following his summer transfer.

Speaking to Manchester United’s website, Ibrahimovic said: “The only thing that surprised me [here] is the game is end to end.

“It’s not controlled by one team but is back and front, back and front. The rhythm is high, which I knew, and I was prepared but, for this game, I have to prepare the body for it.

“I’ve played in different championships in different countries and you have to adapt the body for that, the way it is played.”
