Zlatan Ibrahimovic talks up Paul Pogba ahead of West Brom v Man United

Zlatan Ibrahimovic talks up his understanding with Paul Pogba ahead of Manchester United's trip to West Brom

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has talked up his understanding with Paul Pogba ahead of Manchester United’s trip to West Brom in the Premier League this weekend.

The pair twice combined on Wednesday night as the Red Devils made it back to back wins in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park to keep their top-four bid on track.

Ibrahimovic set up Pogba for United’s opener on the stroke of half-time, and the Swedish striker then returned the favour at the death as the French midfielder hit United’s winner in London.

The two summer signings appear to be adapting well to life at United following their summer moves to the club.

And Ibrahimovic says that he is enjoying playing alongside the French midfielder for Jose Mourinho’s men.

Speaking in an interview with MUTV, Ibrahimovic said: “We talk a lot and we try to help each other a lot.

“I think he likes to play with me and I like to play with him too. But it is not only about us two, it is the whole team.

“We all put in the hard work. You could see we were not performing on top, but still we got the winner. Sometimes you hit the top and don’t get the winner, like in the last couple of weeks.”

Both Ibrahimovic and Pogba will be expecting to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils take on West Brom on Saturday in their final Premier League game before Christmas.
