Alexis Sanchez delivers fresh update on his situation at Arsenal

Alexis Sanchez insists that he feels happy at Arsenal amid the ongoing speculation about his future at the club

Alexis Sanchez has insisted that he feels happy and comfortable at Arsenal amid the ongoing speculation about his future at the north London club.

The Chile international’s situation at The Emirates has been a constant source of speculation in recent weeks after both he and Mesut Ozil entered into the final two years of their contracts at the club.

Sanchez hit the headlines on Saturday when he reacted angrily to being substituted in the second half of Arsenal’s 4-0 win over Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

Both Sanchez and Ozil are believed to be in discussions with Arsenal about the possibility of extending their contracts at the club.

And the 28-year-old has delivered the following update about his situation at Arsenal beyond the summer of 2018.

Speaking in an interview with Arsenal Player in the video above, Sanchez said: “I definitely feel like an important player, and my team-mates let me know every day.

“I try to prove that I am an important player every day and game after game.”
