Alexis Sanchez makes bold promise to Arsenal fans

Alexis Sanchez promises Arsenal fans that he and his team-mates will do all they can to try and deliver a major trophy this season

Alexis Sanchez has promised Arsenal fans that he and his team-mates will do everything they can to deliver a title this season.

The north London side have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in 2004 and have not ever lifted the Champions League trophy.

Sanchez and his Arsenal team-mates were forced to settle for a season without silverware last term as they ended up second in the table and 10 points behind surprise champions Leicester City.

Arsenal have some work to do if they want to haul themselves back into the race for the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners must also navigate their way past Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League in February.

However, Sanchez has promised Arsenal fans that he and his team-mates will do everything they can to try and win a trophy this season.

Speaking in an interview with Arsenal Player, Sanchez said: “I believe we have the players and the quality to win many things.

“I want to give the fans a new title.

“We always get our fans’ support in the thin and the thick, which is great.

“We must win the Premier League or the Champions League for them.”
