Alexis Sanchez opens up about his plans to reward Arsenal fans

The Arsenal forward says he feels comfortable at the north London club

Alexis Sanchez has underlined his desire to win the Champions League or the Premier League for the Arsenal fans.

The Chile international has scored 15 times and has made seven assists in 22 games in the Premier League this season to help Arsene Wenger’s side challenge Chelsea for the title.

Sanchez scored an added-time penalty to rescue three points in Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon to leave the north London side eight points behind current leaders Chelsea.

The ex-Udinese forward has also netted two goals and has created three goals for his team-mates in the Champions League group stage to help Arsenal set up a last-16 meeting with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

Sanchez has been facing an uncertain future at Arsenal amid ongoing contract negotiations amid talk of a potential move away from the English capital.

However, the Arsenal forward has revealed that he feels comfortable at the north London club and has outlined his plans to win the Premier League or the Champions League this season.

“I feel really happy and comfortable at the club. I want to give the supporters a new title. We always get our fans’ support through thick and thin, which is great. We must win the Premier League or Champions League for them,” Sanchez told Arsenal’s website.
