Antonio Conte: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is a monster

Antonio Conte has described Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger as “a monster” ahead of Chelsea’s clash with the Gunners in the Premier League next month.
The two London sides are set to do battle in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on 4 February as Arsenal look to replicate their 3-0 win over the Blues at The Emirates earlier in the season.
Conte has made a big impact at Chelsea since taking over at Stamford Bridge as Jose Mourinho’s permanent successor last summer.
The west London side have been in superb form in the Premier League and currently lead the way at the top of the Premier League table, having built a five point lead over second-placed Liverpool.
Conte was asked about Wenger ahead of Chelsea’s FA Cup clash with Peterborough on Sunday afternoon and the Italian admitted that he was full of respect for both the Frenchman and former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
Conte is quoted as saying by The Daily Star: “Sir Alex Ferguson is a good example for me.
“When I see him and I see Arsene [Wenger], you are talking about two monsters, two great managers.
“I hope to have not completely their career, but 10 years. That’s enough for me.
“But football is our life. When you decide to do this job, it is because you like to have this pressure. And the moment that you miss it, we are in trouble.”
