Antonio Conte states his prediction for Chelsea v Hull
Antonio Conte looks ahead to Chelsea's clash with Hull City at Stamford Bridge on Sunday
Antonio Conte has warned his Chelsea team that they are in for a stern test of their Premier League title credentials when they host Hull City at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The Blues head into the game looking to continue their fine form in the Premier League after their impressive 3-0 win over Leicester City last weekend.
The west London side are currently flying high at the top of the Premier League table and are seven points ahead of second-placed Tottenham heading into this weekend’s round of games.
Chelsea have established themselves as the firm favourites to win the Premier League title this season thanks to their brilliant form under new boss Conte.
However, the Italian has warned his players to take nothing for granted ahead of their clash against Hull at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
Speaking at a news conference on Friday morning, Conte said: “Our challenge is to keep the right concentration and to think this type of game is very important for the table if you take three points.
“We have to focus on our target because if you think it will be easy you make a big mistake and you can pay for that at the end of the season.
“Hull City are a good team, they won their last game against Bournemouth. They changed their coach and usually when you do that there is a great reaction from the players.”
Chelsea’s upturn in form has been in stark contrast to their struggles last season, when they ended up in 10th place in the table.
