The Chelsea manager is willing to sell Thibaut Courtois in order to land Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, according to reports
Antonio Conte would be willing to sell Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid in order to land his long-term Chelsea target Alvaro Morata, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun are reporting that Conte sees Morata as the perfect striker to lead his attack after the Italian took over the reins at Stamford Bridge from Guus Hiddink in the summer.
The same article states that Real Madrid are desperate to sign Courtois in the summer as los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane looks to secure a new goalkeeper.
The same story suggests that Madrid would be willing to sell Morata after his disappointing goal return in the 2016-17 La Liga campaign so far.
Morata has scored five goals and has made two assists in 13 appearances in the current season following his return from Turin in the summer.
Chelsea are eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table thanks to Diego Costa’s 15 goals in 20 games in this term.
