Robbie Savage predicts where Arsenal, Man City will finish this season

Robbie Savage believes that both Arsenal and Manchester City are set to finish outside the top four this season

Robbie Savage believes that both Arsenal and Manchester City are set to miss out on a place in the top four this season.

The north London side returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday with an impressive 4-0 victory over Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

The Gunners are aiming to win the title for the first time since the 2003-04 season after their second-placed finish last term.

Manchester City, meanwhile, are also looking to secure Champions League qualification in their first season under new boss Pep Guardiola.

However, with the competition for a top-four finish set to be fiercer than ever, former midfielder Savage is tipping both Manchester City and Arsenal to miss out.

Asked to predict which teams will not finish in the top four this season from the current top six, Savage told BT Sport‘s Premier League Tonight show: “Manchester City, because City fans absolutely love me.

“And I’m going to go with Arsenal.”
