Arsenal linked with bid for France international in January – report

Arsenal could be set to join Chelsea and Manchester City in the race to sign Steven N’Zonzi, say reports

Arsenal have made enquiries about signing Steven N’Zonzi in the January transfer window, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Express is claiming that the Gunners are considering joining the race to sign the former Stoke City star.

The same article reports that Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester City are all keen on signing N’Zonzi, who is rated at £25m, this month.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is thought to be on the lookout for reinforcements this month as the Gunners manager aims to bolster his squad.

It remains to be seen whether a move for N’Zonzi could materialise for the north London side.

Arsenal, who finished second and without a trophy last season, are currently gearing up for their Premier League clash against Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

The north London side have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 season, but did lift the FA Cup in both 2014 and 2015.
