Arsenal players sweating about Alexis Sanchez’s future after slump – report

The Arsenal players are worried that Alexis Sanchez could leave the club after the forward's meltdown at Bournemouth, according to reports

The Arsenal squad are worried that Alexis Sanchez could leave The Emirates after the north London club’s recent slump, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mail are reporting that the Gunners players are concerned Sanchez could decide to call time on his Arsenal career amid ongoing contract negotiations with the north London outfit.

The same article states that Sanchez has been offered £180,000-a-week but the Chile star is looking for a deal in the region of £250,000-a-week.

Sanchez was caught on camera looking rather disgruntled after Arsenal’s 3-3 draw at Bournemouth on Tuesday night as the Gunners dropped out of the Premier League’s top four.

The Gunners were 3-0 down against the Cherries early in the second half before goals from Sanchez, Lucas Perez and Olivier Giroud rescued a point on the south coast.

The Chile forward has scored 13 goals in 20 Premier League appearances this season but the former Barcelona man’s efforts haven’t been enough to keep Arsenal in the top four.
