Michael Owen states his prediction for Bournemouth v Arsenal
Michael Owen looks ahead to Arsenal's clash with Bournemouth on Tuesday night
Michael Owen says he does not expect Arsenal to beat Bournemouth in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
The Gunners are looking to win their first away game in three outings after the disappointment of back to back defeats by Everton and Manchester City before Christmas.
Arsenal will need to take all three points if they want to keep alive any faint hopes of them challenging Chelsea for the Premier League title this season.
Arsene Wenger is hoping to help his side go one better than last season, when the Gunners finished second in the Premier League table and without a trophy.
However, former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Owen is expecting to see Arsenal slip up when they travel to the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday night.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “The Gunners have lost their last two away games in the Premier League and I don’t think they will take all three points against the Cherries.
“Both sides have scored in seven of Arsenal’s last eight away games and that is not the stat of potential champions.”
Arsenal have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 season.
