Jamie Carragher quizzes Man United legend over Mauricio Pochettino

The Liverpool legend has some fun with Phil Neville on Twitter as the pair discuss Mauricio Pochettino

Jamie Carragher and Phil Neville discussed the possibility of Mauricio Pochettino taking over the reins at Manchester United in the future after Tottenham Hotspur were 2-0 winners against Chelsea on Wednesday night.

The Premier League leaders made the short trip to White Hart Lane in search of their 14th successive win to equal Arsenal’s record and move further clear in the title race ahead of the return of the FA Cup this week.

Tottenham were 2-0 winners against their London rivals thanks to goals either side of half-time from England midfielder Dele Alli.

Pochettino guided the north London side to a third-place finish last term after Tottenham challenged Leicester City for the Premier League title throughout much of the 2015-16 season.

Former Liverpool defender Carragher asked Neville whether he would see Pochettino as a future Manchester United manager. Neville responded:

Carragher couldn’t resist a cheeky dig at Neville after the retired defender was brought in as part of David Moyes’s backroom staff during his doomed reign.
