The Daily Mail have reported that Chelsea are hoping to tempt Monaco with a big-money offer for Bakayoko as Antonio Conte looks to bolster his midfield options.
The France Under-21 international has scored two goals in 16 appearances in Ligue 1 and the French club are understandably keen to keep hold of their midfielder.
The same article states that Chelsea are still in talks with Serie A club Atalanta over their midfielder Kessie in the January transfer window.
According to the story in The Daily Mail, Chelsea are unwilling to meet Atalanta’s £30m price tag for the Ivory Coast international despite generating £52m from the sale of Oscar.
