Kenedy has taken to social media to insist that he remains fully focused on Chelsea despite the recent speculation about his future.

There have been reports in the British media this week that Kenedy could be set to move to Brazilian side Flamengo on loan until the end of the season.

The Brazilian joined the Blues Fluminense in 2015 and started this season on loan to Watford before returning to Stamford Bridge after making just one substitute appearance this term.

However, despite the speculation, it seems that Kenedy is fully focused on proving himself to Antonio Conte at Chelsea.

Kenedy shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account on Wednesday afternoon and wrote the caption: “CLARIFICATION NOTE!! ️ Today when I woke up I learned that a certain newspaper published a story saying that I spoke badly about a club in Brazil.

“I would like to clarify that this matter is TOTALLY FALSE, because IN NO TIME I TOLD WHAT IT WAS MENTIONED IN MATTER. Who was on (Instagram) Live yesterday knows that!!!

“I want you to know that I am PROFESSIONAL and I would never lack with respect to any institution.

“I’m a Chelsea player and I keep working to give my best to my club.”

Chelsea are currently flying high at the top of the Premier League table, seven points clear of second-placed Tottenham.
