Chelsea players urge Antonio Conte to sign this goalkeeper – report
The senior Chelsea players are hoping Antonio Conte will sign Joe Hart if Thibaut Courtois leaves in the summer, say reports
Chelsea’s senior players have urged manager Antonio Conte to sign Joe Hart in the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun are reporting that some members of the Chelsea squad have spoken to Conte about signing Hart in the event that Thibaut Courtois leaves the west London club in the summer transfer window.
The same article states that the Belgium international has been linked with a move to Real Madrid at the end of the season after previous transfer speculation suggesting los Blancos wanted the shot stopper.
Hart moved to Torino on a season-long loan from Manchester City last summer after new manager Pep Guardiola deemed the England international surplus to requirements following Claudio Bravo’s move to The Etihad from Barcelona.
Courtois has played a key role in Chelsea’s rise to the top of the table this season after establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s leading goalkeepers.
The Belgian has kept 14 clean sheets in the 2016-17 top-flight season, which is six more than Hugo Lloris.
