Chelsea and Liverpool face plenty of competition for Genk forward Leon Bailey, according to reports
Chelsea and Liverpool are among the leading clubs interested in Belgium and Genk winger Leon Bailey, according to reports in England.
The Daily Mail are reporting that the Premier League duo are weighing up a potential offer in the January transfer window with a view to completing the deal in the summer.
The same article suggests that Chelsea and Liverpool may have to act fast given interest from Serie A side Roma and Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.
The story goes on to state that Roma and Leverkusen are ready to cough up a transfer fee in the region of £20m for the Belgium winger.
According to the report, Bournemouth are also interested in Bailey as Eddie Howe looks to bolster his Cherries squad after some big investment last summer.
Bailey has scored six goals and has made two assists in 24 appearances in all competitions for Belgian side Genk this term.
Chelsea are seven points ahead of third-placed Liverpool in the Premier League title race.
