Diego Costa opens up about ‘incredible’ Chelsea star

Diego Costa admits that he has been very impressed by Pedro's form for Chelsea this season

Diego Costa has heaped praise on Pedro Rodriguez following the Spaniard’s impressive performances for Chelsea this season.

Pedro has been one of Chelsea’s standout players this season to help the Blues top the Premier League table heading into 2017.

It was a difficult first campaign for the Spaniard following his arrival at Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer of 2015 as the Blues endured a season to forget and finished in 10th place in the Premier League.

However, Pedro has been in superb form this season and his impressive displays have not gone unnoticed by his team-mates.

Speaking in an interview with Chelsea’s website ahead of the Premier League clash against Stoke on Saturday, Costa said: “Pedro is a very good player and he comes from an incredible school, he comes from Barcelona.

“The thing is Pedro, Willian, and Eden are all great players and they are in great form right now. That definitely helps me as a striker and I hope it will make us win many more matches.”

Chelsea now turn their attentions towards their crunch clash against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane next week.
