Eden Hazard reveals Premier League title race fears with Chelsea

Eden Hazard has warned his Chelsea team-mates that they must take nothing for granted in the Premier League title race

Eden Hazard has warned his Chelsea team-mates that “anything can happen” in the race for the Premier League title this season.

The Blues are currently leading the way at the top of the Premier League table after a bright start to the season under new boss Antonio Conte.

Their sharp upturn in form has been in stark contrast to their struggles last season, when the Blues ended up in 10th place in the Premier League table and without a trophy.

Chelsea are the favourites to win the title this term after their strong start to the campaign.

However, Hazard – who helped to fire Chelsea to the Premier League title in the 2014-15 season – is taking nothing for granted as the race for the trophy hots up.

Hazard is quoted as saying by Metro: “We know this league is difficult – you never know – anything can happen.

“Now, we are top of the league, but the other teams are very strong and they want to close the gap and comeback quickly.

“We have to be ready for everything, we are in this position and we know what to do.”
