Eric Bailly delivers positive update to Man United fans

Eric Bailly delivers a positive update about his Manchester United situation after his lay-off with a knee injury

Eric Bailly has reassured Manchester United fans that he is now fully injury-free following his lay-off with a knee problem earlier in the season.

The defender signed for the Red Devils from Villarreal in the summer transfer window as the first arrival under new boss Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

Bailly is currently on international duty with the Ivory Coast as he looks to help the Elephants win the African Cup of Nations this year.

And the centre-half has provided a positive update about his future ahead of his return to Manchester United later in the season.

Speaking to Manchester United’s website, Bailly said: “I’m fine. The injury happened, but I have recovered physically and it feels good.”

Manchester United are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table as they bid to break back into the top four in Mourinho’s first season in charge at the club.
