Gary Neville makes honest admission about Tottenham under Mauricio Pochettino

Gary Neville heaps praise on Tottenham Hotspur for their impressive form this season...

Gary Neville has admitted that Tottenham are a joy to watch under Mauricio Pochettino this season.

The Lilywhites underlined their status as genuine contenders to win the Premier League title this season when they romped to a 4-0 win over West Brom at the weekend.

That victory followed their impressive 2-0 win over Chelsea earlier this month as they continue to challenge for the top flight trophy.

Tottenham are aiming to build on their third-placed finish last season after they challenged for the title for most of the campaign but ended up behind champions Leicester and second-placed Arsenal.

And former Manchester United defender Neville has been very impressed by what he has seen from the Lilywhites so far this season.

Speaking to his podcast on his Sky Sports podcast, Neville said: “They’re a joy to watch. The way they play the game under Mauricio Pochettino. What they’re doing there is very good.

“The young players are coming through and there is a pathway there. There is a belief and an identity to them team.”
