Gary Neville has a message for Jamie Carragher after Liverpool's surprise FA Cup exit

Gary Neville sent a message to Jamie Carragher after the ex-defender’s miserable reaction to Liverpool’s 2-1 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup.

The Reds were in desperate need of a morale-boosting win after their EFL Cup exit mid-week at the hand of Southampton following Shane Long’s added-time winner in a 1-0 loss at Anfield in the second leg of the semi-final.

However, Paul Lambert’s Wolves side made the breakthrough inside the first minute thanks to Richard Stearman’s goal before ex-Aston Villa midfielder Andreas Weimann doubled the away side’s lead with superb solo goal.

Klopp turned to his bench in hope of an unlikely comeback and he brought on Philippe Coutinho, Daniel Sturridge and Emre Can but Liverpool could only muster one goal as Divock Origi netted a late consolation.

Carragher took to Twitter to bemoan a disappointing result, and his Sky Sports colleague Neville was quick to send a message to the Liverpool legend about the cup shock.
