Graeme Souness states his prediction for Tottenham v Chelsea
Graeme Souness has his say about Chelsea's trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night
Graeme Souness has warned Chelsea that they are set for a stern test of their Premier League title credentials when they come up against Tottenham on Wednesday night.
Chelsea have established themselves as the firm favourites to win the Premier League title this season following their brilliant start under new boss Antonio Conte.
The Blues are flying high at the top of the Premier League table after winning their last 13 games on the spin.
Spurs, however, have been in good form themselves and head into the game on the back of their impressive 4-1 demolition of Watford on Sunday afternoon.
And former Liverpool star Souness feels that Tottenham will have a real chance of stopping Chelsea’s run when they take on Antonio Conte’s men at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night.
Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the game, Souness said: “Tottenham have a real chance, they’re flying.
“Eight goals in the last two games, their tails are firmly up. Chelsea’s tails are firmly up. Home advantage is with Tottenham.
“You would not bet against Tottenham doing the business on Wednesday night.”
Tottenham finished third last season, while Chelsea ended up 10th.
