Harry Redknapp makes optimistic prediction about Liverpool

Harry Redknapp explains why Liverpool fans have plenty of reasons to feel optimistic about the club's future

Harry Redknapp believes that Liverpool’s long-term future under Jurgen Klopp is looking brighter than ever and is backing the Reds to challenge for the Premier League title in the coming seasons.

The Reds suffered a disappointing blow to their Premier League title hopes on Saturday when they slumped to a disappointing 3-2 loss to Swansea City at Anfield.

Liverpool will still harbour hopes of catching leaders Chelsea and winning the title this season.

However, Redknapp feels that there are plenty of reasons for Reds fans to stay upbeat even the Merseyside outfit come up short this term.

Speaking to BT Sport on Saturday night, former Spurs manager Redknapp said: “Long-term, Liverpool’s future looks fantastic.

“They’ll only keep getting better. They’ll be challenging for the title in the next few years for sure.”

Liverpool are aiming to at least break back into the top four this season after their eighth placed finish under Klopp last term.
