Jose Mourinho names three things Man United must improve against Liverpool

Jose Mourinho says there is plenty of room for improvement from his Manchester United team ahead of their clash with Liverpool

Jose Mourinho has called for an improvement in all departments from Manchester United when they take on Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Red Devils took a step closer towards qualification for the EFL Cup final on Tuesday night when they sealed a 2-0 win over Hull City at Old Trafford in the first leg of their semi-final clash.

Juan Mata gave the Red Devils the lead shortly after half-time, before substitute Marouane Fellaini made it 2-0 with a header.

Manchester United now turn their attentions towards their crunch Premier League clash against bitter local rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

And Mourinho admitted that there is plenty of room for improvement in all departments – including the club’s fans.

Speaking to Sky Sports after Tuesday’s game, Mourinho said: “Because this game is over, I think now about Sunday.

“I need to do better, the players need to do better, and the stadium has to do better, too.”
