Jose Mourinho wants Man United to offer £60m for Tottenham duo – report

Manchester United are interested in Tottenham's impressive full-backs Danny Rose and Kyle Walker, according to reports

Jose Mourinho has urged Manchester United to offer £60m for Tottenham Hotspur full-backs Danny Rose and Kyle Walker, according to reports in the Britihs media.

The Sun are reporting that the Red Devils boss wants to rival Manchester City for the England internationals despite the Citizens’s long-term interest in Tottenham’s pacy full-backs.

Rose and Walker have established themselves as key members of Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line-up since the Argentinian coach took over the reins at White Hart Lane in 2014.

The same article states that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has identified Rose as his number one target as the Eastland outfit’s Spanish boss looks to improve his defensive options.

However, The Sun claim that Mourinho is ready to disrupt Guardiola’s plans with an incredible £60m offer for the English duo despite having Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia in his squad.

Tottenham were 2-0 winners against Premier League leaders Chelsea in the Premier League earlier this month to end the west London side’s 13-game unbeaten run.
