Jurgen Klopp would love to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to replace struggling Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge, according to reports in the British media.
Daily Mirror are reporting that Klopp has run out of patience with the England international have Sturridge failed to find the net in his last three appearances against Swansea City, Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The same article states that the Liverpool manager would like to sign Aubameyang as a replacement for Sturridge but the Gabon international’s £70m price tag and interest from Real Madrid and Manchester City could prove a stumbling block.
Daily Mirror goes on to state that Liverpool are eyeing up Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams as a potential player who can improve their attacking options.
Aubameyang has scored 16 goals in 17 games in the Bundesliga this term as Dortmund struggle to keep pace with current leaders Bayern Munich.
Liverpool are in fourth place in the Premier League table and 10 points adrift of current leaders Chelsea.
