Juventus weighing up move for Man United midfielder – report

The Serie A champions are considering a move for Manchester United outcast Morgan Schneiderlin, according to reports in Italy

Juventus are contemplating a move to sign Manchester United’s out-of-favour midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, according to reports in Italy.

Gianlucadimarzio.com are reporting that the Serie A champions are keeping tabs on the France international after Jose Mourinho confirmed that Schneiderlin wants to leave the 20-time English champions in the January transfer window.

The same article states that Juventus have been monitoring Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva after landing Veneuzla captain Tomas Rincon from Genoa this week.

However, Juventus could be a possible destination for the former Southampton midfielder after Schneiderlin fell out-of-favour under Mourinho at Old Trafford this term.

The 27-year-old defensive midfielder has only made three substitute appearances in the Premier League this season.

Schneiderlin moved to Manchester United in a £25m deal from Southampton in the 2015 summer transfer window under Mourinho’s predecessor Louis van Gaal.

The French star scored one goal in 39 appearances in all competitions in his first season in the Premier League in the 2015-16 season.
