Ray Parlour states prediction for Leicester v Chelsea

The former Arsenal midfielder is backing Chelsea to return to winning ways at Leicester City on Saturday evening

Ray Parlour is tipping Chelsea to make a swift return to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday evening when Antonio Conte’s side face the defending champions Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

The Blues made the trip to White Hart Lane earlier this month looking to record a 14th successive Premier League win to equal Arsenal’s record but Conte’s men came up unstuck against Tottenham.

England international Dele Alli scored either side of half-time at White Hart Lane to help Mauricio Pochettino’s Lilywhites outfit open up the title race after Chelsea’s dominant spell.

Chelsea have only lost three games in the 2016-17 Premier League season after the west London outfit suffered defeats by title rivals Arsenal and Liverpool before their winning run.

Leicester were impressive winners against Manchester City last month but former Arsenal midfielder Parlour doesn’t envisage Chelsea dropping any points at the King Power Stadium.

“It’s an away win for me. I think they’ve got to bounce back after Spurs. It’s a tricky game but I’ve got to go with an away win,” Parlour told the Alan Brazil Up Front podcast.

Chelsea are five points clear of second-placed Liverpool in the title race.
