Liverpool receive approach from La Liga club for defender, reveals reporter
Sevilla are interested in signing Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho, according to Sky Sports News's Kaveh Solhekol
Sevilla have approached Liverpool about the possibility of signing Mamadou Sakho, according to Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol.
The France international has been out of favour under Jurgen Klopp this season and hasn’t made a single competitive appearance for the Merseyside outfit.
Sakho was sent home early from the Merseyside outfit’s pre-season tour of the United States before he was sent to train with Liverpool’s Under-23 squad.
The 26-year-old defender has regularly updated his social media followers with video of his workouts as Sakho looks to catch the eye of potential suitors.
The Daily Mirror reported last week that Southampton were interested in signing the powerful Liverpool defender in the January transfer window.
But Sky Sports News HQ reporter Solhekol has revealed on Twitter that Europa League winners Sevilla have made an approach for the Liverpool defender.
Sevilla approach Liverpool about signing Mamadou Sakho. Liverpool will only let him leave on permanent deal & they want £20 million.

Liverpool are in second place in the Premier League table and five points behind leaders Chelsea.
The Reds will take on Southampton in the League Cup semi-final in mid-week.
