Ray Parlour states prediction for Man City v Tottenham

The Arsenal legend is tipping Tottenham Hotspur to draw 2-2 with Manchester City at The Etihad on Saturday

Ray Parlour is backing Tottenham Hotspur to play out a thrilling 2-2 draw with Manchester City at The Etihad on Saturday evening.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will make the long trip to Manchester fresh from their impressive 4-0 win against West Bromwich Albion last weekend.

Harry Kane scored a hat-trick against the Baggies as the north London outfit recorded their sixth successive Premier League victory.

Manchester City, on the other hand, lost 3-0 to Everton at Goodison Park to leave Pep Guardiola’s side outside the top four and three points behind Spurs.

The Citizens have only lost one of their 10 Premier League games at The Etihad this season, while Tottenham have recorded four top-flight wins on the road in 10 attempts.

Speaking to the Alan Brazil Up Front podcast ahead of the top-five clash at Eastlands, ex-Arsenal midfielder Parlour predicted the scoreline for the intriguing Premier League fixture.

“Tottenham are scoring goals. They scored four against West Brom,” Parlour said.

“Harry Kane scored a hat-trick and Dele Alli is in good form. I’ve gone for 2-2 in this one. There will be goals. You have to be wary of Aguero, De Bruyne and Silva.”
