Thierry Henry looks ahead to Man City v Tottenham
Thierry Henry says Tottenham's clash with Manchester City will prove an indicator about Spurs' title hopes
Thierry Henry says he is intrigued to see how Tottenham fare against Manchester City in the Premier League next weekend.
Spurs have been in impressive form in recent weeks and thrashed West Brom 4-0 at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon as they continued their good run.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men earned plenty of praise as they beat Chelsea 2-0 at White Hart Lane earlier this month to boost their Premier League title hopes.
The north London side will now turn their attentions towards their crunch clash with Manchester City at The Etihad on Saturday evening.
And Arsenal legend Henry says that the game is perfectly lined up to deliver an honest assessment of Tottenham’s Premier League title hopes this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports after Tottenham’s win over West Brom, Henry said: “They played ever so well against Chelsea and also here [against West Brom].
“The games away at Man City and Liverpool – people are going to want to see what they are going to do. They usually play well against Man City and have won the last three.
“It’s going to be amazing. You only see those two teams at being able to stop Tottenham right now.”
Tottenham finished third in the Premier League table last season despite being Leicester City’s closest challengers for the title for much of the campaign.
