Michy Batshuayi reacts to Chelsea’s 4-1 win over Peterborough on Twitter

The Chelsea summer signing was pleased with his goal and assist

Michy Batshuayi has spoken of his delight at helping Chelsea reach the FA Cup fourth round after their 4-1 win against Peterborough on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea made the breakthrough in first half through Spain international Pedro Rodriguez before summer signing Michy Batshuayi extended their lead with his fourth goal for the west London club.

Willian made it 3-0 before Chelsea’s 36-year-old captain John Terry received a straight red card for bringing down Peterborough striker Lee Angol on his first start since October.

The Posh made their man advantage count when Tom Nichols made it 3-1 but it wasn’t long before former Barcelona midfielder Pedro restored their three-goal cushion.

Batshuayi was thrilled to get on the score sheet as the Chelsea striker posted an update on his Twitter page. The Chelsea goal-scorer tweeted:

Chelsea lost 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane in the Premier League mid-week following goals either side of half-time from Dele Alli.

The Blues are still five points clear of their closest rivals Liverpool ahead of their trip to Leicester City in their next Premier League fixture on Saturday.
