Niall Quinn: This is what’s changed for Man United under Jose Mourinho
Jose Mourinho now has the "glint in his eye" at Manchester United after a slow start at Old Trafford
Niall Quinn believes that Jose Mourinho is finally beginning to show what he is capable of at Manchester United this season.
It was a stuttering start to life for Mourinho at Old Trafford following his appointment as the club’s new manager back in May.
The Red Devils won the Community Shield in August but struggled to produce consistent form in the Premier League for the opening few weeks of the campaign.
However, Manchester United have started to show some signs of serious improvement in recent weeks and the Red Devils have now won their last six games on the spin in the Premier League.
Manchester United are still some way off the pace in the race for the Premier League title, but Quinn feels that the Red Devils have shown some serious signs of improvement in recent weeks.
Speaking to Sky Sports after Manchester United’s 2-0 win over West Ham on Monday night, Quinn said: “You can see the glint in his [Mourinho’s] eye that’s been missing with him publicly.
“You can see his players buying into it. It is now easier to be a Manchester United player than it has been for some time.
“The players will relish the next game and they’re on that kind of run.”
