Owen Hargreaves predicts where Man United will finish this season
Owen Hargreaves feels that Manchester United are likely to miss out on a top-four finish this season
Owen Hargreaves believes that Manchester United have left it too late to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.
The Red Devils have been in much improved form in recent weeks and have earned plenty of praise for their performances under new boss Jose Mourinho.
Manchester United initially made a slow start to life under Mourinho following his appointment in the summer but the Red Devils have now clicked into gear under their new boss.
The Red Devils still have a significant battle on their hands to try and get back into the top four this season following their fifth-placed finish last term.
And former Manchester United midfielder Hargreaves feels that the Red Devils are set to miss out on Champions League qualification this time around.
Asked which team he thinks will miss out on a top-four finish this season, Hargreaves told BT Sport’s Premier League Tonight show: “I think Man United have left it too late [to finish in the top four]. They’re pushing close but left it too late.”
