Owen Hargreaves sends Man United warning to Chelsea after 3-0 win

Owen Hargreaves has his say on Chelsea's impressive 3-0 win over Leicester City on Saturday night

Owen Hargreaves believes that Manchester United are capable of stringing together a winning run to haul themselves back into the Premier League title race – but says Chelsea are still the heavy favourites to lift the trophy in May.

Chelsea returned to winning ways in style on Saturday night with a thumping 3-0 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Two goals from Marcos Alonso and a late header from Pedro Rodriguez extended Chelsea’s lead at the top of the table to seven points ahead of Liverpool’s trip to Manchester United on Sunday.

Hargreaves feels that Manchester United are capable of hauling themselves back into the title race but believes that Chelsea are the clear favourites to win the title.

Speaking during BT Sport‘s coverage of the Chelsea win, Hargreaves said: “I think Manchester United are capable of going on a run as they have done and could easily win another five or six games on the bounce.

“But Chelsea are the best team we’ve seen all season. One little blip against Spurs, but this was a tremendous response.”
