Paul Pogba: This is what reported Man United target is like in the dressing room
The Manchester United midfielder discusses how Antoine Griezmann acts in the dressing room
Paul Pogba has described Antoine Griezmann as one of the funniest guys that the Manchester United midfielder has shared a dressing room with.
The Atletico Madrid striker is France team-mates with Manchester United’s record signing as the pair helped Didier Deschamps’s side reach the European championship final last summer.
The Sun reported on Friday that Manchester United have been holding talks with Griezmann’s representatives about a potential move to Old Trafford and the Red Devils are willing to offer the forward a staggering £220,000 a week.
The Atletico star has spoken of his desire to share a club dressing room with his friend Pogba amid speculation linking the France star with a big-money switch to the Manchester club.
And the feeling appears to be mutual after Pogba described Griezmann as one of the funniest characters in the dressing room.
“You would be surprised! He’s one of the funniest guys I’ve met and played with,” Pogba told Fifa’s website.
“He is someone who always has fun in training, he works hard but with pleasure, as a game. We have fun. He sometimes goes in goal, doing some amazing saves, other times he’ll act like he’s Didier Drogba, holding the ball up.”
Manchester United signed four players in the summer transfer window after Jose Mourinho was appointed as Louis van Gaal’s successor.
