Paul Scholes has admitted that it looks like Chelsea will go from strength to strength in the Premier League title race this season ahead of Manchester United’s clash with Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues underlined their status as the prime contenders to win the Premier League title this season when they beat Leicester City 3-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday night.

Chelsea are flying high at the top of the table and are the firm favourites to win the title this season.

Liverpool are currently eight points behind Chelsea heading into their crunch clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

However, Scholes feels that Chelsea are the clear favourites to win the Premier League title this season ahead of Manchester United’s game against Liverpool.

Speaking on BT Sport’s Premier League Tonight show on Saturday, Scholes said: “Chelsea have been sensational.

“If Man United beat Liverpool, that lead looks really good.

“You can only see Chelsea going from strength to strength really.”
