Pedro issues Chelsea rallying cry ahead of Leicester City showdown

Pedro Rodriguez is confident that Chelsea will return to winning ways for their trip to Leicester City

Pedro Rodriguez is confident that he will be able to help Chelsea return to winning ways in the Premier League this weekend when the Blues take on Leicester City.

The west London side are preparing to travel to the King Power Stadium as they look to bounce back from the disappointment of their 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur last week.

Chelsea have been the Premier League’s most consistent team this season and currently lead the way at the top of the Premier League table by five points, despite their defeat by Spurs.

Pedro scored twice as Chelsea beat Peterborough 4-1 in the third round of the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

And the Spaniard is confident that Chelsea can get their Premier League title bid back on track with victory against Claudio Ranieri’s defending champions this weekend.

Speaking in an interview with Chelsea’s website, Pedro said: “Against Spurs it was a different game. We lost, but no problem, we just continue taking it game by game.

“Next we face Leicester, a very difficult team, but we will prepare all week and go for the win.”
