The Arsenal midfielder wants the north London side to build some momentum in the Premier League

Alex Iwobi has challenged his Arsenal team-mates to put together a winning run after their 4-0 win against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

The Nigeria international was named in Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up in South Wales as Arsenal looked to win their first Premier League game on the road since a 5-1 win at West Ham United at the London Stadium on 3 December.

Iwobi’s deflected strike helped Arsenal ease into a 2-0 lead at Swansea after Olivier Giroud broke the deadlock in the first half to extend his goal-scoring run to four Premier League games following his recall to the Arsenal side.

Kyle Naughton netted Swansea’s second own goal of the afternoon before Chile international Alexis Sanchez sealed a 4-0 win with 17 minutes remaining.

Arsenal will return to Premier League action next weekend when Wenger’s side host Burnley at the Emirates Stadium in search of a second successive top-flight win.

Iwobi posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“Back To Winning Ways Away From Home! Let’s Keep This Going Gunners. #BIG17 #COYG”
