The Arsenal midfielder appears to underline that his future lies with the Gunners despite being linked to Liverpool

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has appeared to suggest that his future lies with Arsenal after transfer speculation linking the midfielder with a January move.

The England international has struggled to tie down a regular starting spot in the Arsene Wenger’s side this term after increased competition for a starting spot following the emergence of Alex Iwobi.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has started eight of the north London side’s 18 Premier League games so far, although the winger has made a further seven appearances in the 2016-17 campaign.

Jurgen Klopp played down talk of Liverpool signing the Arsenal midfielder next month during his media conference on Thursday afternoon after the Reds had been linked with a move to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain in the January transfer window.

And Oxlade-Chamberlain appeared to suggest that his future lies with Arsenal after the above cryptic post on his Instagram page. His caption read:

“🔴⚪️ #Gunners”

Oxlade-Chamberlain has scored two goals and has made four assists in 18 Premier League games so far this term.
