Ander Herrera takes to social media to praise Manchester United's fighting spirit after the 1-1 draw with Liverpool

Ander Herrera has taken to social media to praise Manchester United’s fighting spirit after the Red Devils came from a goal down to earn a 1-1 draw with Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils fell behind in the first half at Old Trafford when James Milner scored his penalty after Paul Pogba handled in the box.

However, Manchester United battled back and earned a point when Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored an equaliser with six minutes left to play to secure a draw.

And despite the disappointment of not getting all three points, Herrera praised Manchester United’s resilience with a post on social media after the game.

Herrera shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “United never give up! it was a shame not getting the 3 points for our fans 🔴 let’s think about the next one @manchesterunited”

Manchester United now turn their attentions towards their trip to Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
