Daniel Sturridge has highlighted the role that his brother Dean has played in the Liverpool striker’s career.
The England international was an unused substitute in Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon after Zlatan Ibrahimovic cancelled out James Milner’s first-half penalty.
Sturridge has struggled to tie down a regular starting spot in Jurgen Klopp’s first-team this season as the German continues to prefer Roberto Firmino or Divock Origi in a centre-forward role.
The 27-year-old moved to Liverpool in a £12m deal from Chelsea in the 2013 January transfer window after falling down the pecking order at the west London outfit under Roberto di Matteo and Rafael Benitez.
thE liverpool centre-forward has scored 70 goals in 176 games in the Premier League for Manchester City, Bolton Wanderers, Chelsea and Liverpool during his career so far.
Sturridge posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption on his photo-sharing app:

Liverpool are in third place in the Premier League table.
