David Luiz looked to wind down with a dip in the swimming pool on Tuesday evening ahead of Chelsea’s trip to defending Premier League champions Leicester City this weekend.

The Brazil international was powerless to prevent the west London side from suffering their first defeat in 13 Premier League games last week after a 2-0 loss to bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.

The popular centre-half was handed a break on Sunday afternoon after Antonio Conte started John Terry and Kurt Zouma at centre-half for their 4-1 win against Peterborough in the FA Cup third round.

However, Luiz is back in training ahead of their long trip to Leicester on Saturday evening as the leaders look to beat the reigning Premier League champions and get their title bid back on track.

Luiz posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“Swimming session! 🏊🏼 😉”

Chelsea are five points clear of their closest rivals Liverpool in the Premier League title race.
