Granit Xhaka looks for the positives after Arsenal's 3-3 draw with Bournemouth in the Premier League
Granit Xhaka was looking for the positives after Arsenal battled back from three goals down to earn a 3-3 draw with Bournemouth in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
Arsene Wenger’s men found themselves three goals down early in the second half at the Vitality Stadium after goals from Charlie Daniels, Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser.
However, goals from Alexis Sanchez, Lucas Perez and Oliver Giroud in the second half handed Arsenal a point in the Premier League title race as they managed to battle back.
Despite the fightback, it was not the result that Arsenal were looking for in the title race as they looked to close the gap to leaders Chelsea.
However, Xhaka used his personal Instagram account to insist that a point was better than nothing after the game.
Xhaka shared the photo above on the app and wrote the caption: “Tonight was a Match, that had everything. Not the result that we expected but at least we lost two not three points.. Looking forward to the next match. 💪”
Arsenal finished second in the Premier League and without a trophy last season.
