John Terry takes to social media to wish Oscar all the best after his transfer from Chelsea to Shanghai SIPG
John Terry has taken to social media to send a heartfelt goodbye message to Oscar after the Brazilian completed his transfer from Chelsea to Shanghai SIPG this week.
The Brazilian playmaker was sold by the Blues this month as Antonio Conte agreed to let the midfielder leave Stamford Bridge to move to China.
Chelsea are thought to have earned a substantial transfer fee from the deal, meaning that the Blues could be set to splash a portion of it in the January window as they look to bolster their squad.
And Chelsea captain Terry used his Instagram account to wish Oscar all the best after he arrived in China on Monday.
Terry posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “I would like to wish @oscar_emboaba and his family all the very best with his move to China 🇨🇳
“@oscar_emboaba it was a pleasure to play with you and get to know you mate, an unbelievable player and a great man. Good Luck my friend, JT ⚽️💙”
Chelsea are currently preparing for their crunch Premier League clash against Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night.
The Blues have been in fine form in the Premier League this season and have won their last 13 games in the top flight on the spin.
