Juan Mata has been doing some target practice in the bowling alley ahead of Manchester United’s home clash against Reading in the FA Cup on Saturday.
The Spain international has been in good form for Jose Mourinho’s side this season despite initial suggestions that Mata could be facing a bleak future under his former Chelsea manager.
Mata came off the bench to break the deadlock in Manchester United’s 2-0 victory over West Ham United at the London Stadium on Monday night ahead of the visit of Reading this weekend.
The 28-year-old has scored four goals and has made two assists in 15 appearances in the Premier League, while the playmaker has also netted in the Europa League and the League Cup.
And the World Cup winner relaxed on Thursday night with some bowling ahead of their third-round FA Cup tie at Old Trafford.
Mata posted the above video on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:
“137th attempt… 💥😎🎳”
