The Manchester United midfielder celebrates his three-year anniversary at Old Trafford
Juan Mata has sent a heartfelt message to the Manchester United supporters as the midfielder celebrated his third-year anniversary on Wednesday afternoon.
The Spain international moved to Manchester United in a then club-record £37.1m deal from bitter rivals Chelsea in the 2013 January transfer window.
Mata won his first trophy with the 20-time English champions last season after Manchester United lifted the FA Cup at Wembley last term.
The World Cup winner scored the equaliser in a 2-1 extra-time win against Crystal Palace at the home of English football.
Mata has already helped Manchester United reach another Wembley final in successive seasons after the Spanish midfielder scored in a 2-0 win against Hull City in the first leg of their EFL Cup last four.
The Manchester United midfielder will be hoping to start the second leg at the KCOM Stadium on Thursday night.
Mata posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

Mata has scored 33 goals in 131 appearances in all competitions in his Manchester United career so far.
