Kurt Zouma is clearly determined to try and force his way into the Chelsea first team in the remainder of the season

Kurt Zouma has taken to social media to reveal that he is working as hard as possible as he bids to force his way into the Chelsea first team this season.

The French defender made his first appearance of the season for the Blues when he helped Antonio Conte’s men secure a 4-1 win over Peterborough in the FA Cup third round on Saturday afternoon.

Zouma will now be hoping to compete for a regular spot in the Chelsea first team in the second half of the campaign as he bids to hold down a spot in Conte’s side.

And the centre-half used his personal Instagram account to reveal that he is working hard in training as he looks to break into the Blues’ first team.

Zouma posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Training.. ⚽️⚽️ #workhard”

Chelsea are currently gearing up for their crunch clash against Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday night as they look to return to winning ways following their 2-0 loss to Bournemouth last week.
