Memphis Depay has taken to social media to share a cryptic update with his followers in the wake of Manchester United’s 2-0 win over West Ham United on Monday night.

The Dutchman’s future at Old Trafford has been a source of intense speculation in recent weeks due to his lack of playing time under new manager Jose Mourinho.

Indeed, Depay has only started one game for the Red Devils this season and has struggled to make much of an impact at Old Trafford following his arrival from PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2015.

Manchester United have been in good form in recent weeks and made it six wins in a row in the Premier League when they beat West Ham at the London Stadium on Monday.

Depay, however, posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account after the game and wrote the caption: “It’s hard to beat a person that never gives up.”
